FAQ

  • How much is a knife?
It depends on the design and materials but my knives average around $300.
  • How long does it take to make a knife?
Each knife is dependent on 3 things. Time I have to work on it, mercy of suppliers on materials, and how long my current list is. I average 3-4 months for a full build.
  • Can I order a set of knives?
I have worked on a few sets for clients- the time this takes is much much longer than a normal order and would probably be around twice as long.
  • Can you restore a knife of mine?
I have restored knives but cannot accept responsibility on other companies products. If you start a conversation, I may add a restoration to my list.
  • Do you sharpen knives?
I can as a courtesy if you are local (Maine) and already have a knife order in with me.
  • Do you have a YouTube Channel?
No, I don't think theres a need for that yet.
  • Do you make folders?
No. I am a purist and want to focus on what I love to do. Folders would involve machining and things I simply don't want to do. That said, I continue to experiment and explore different styles and methods. I have made some fixed EDCs and mini versions of chef knives. I will soon add throwing knives to the list.
  • What is your return policy?
If the product is unsatisfactory, I will make sure to rectify. Just reach out to me upon receiving your knife with the issue or defect and we can fix the issue or offer a full refund upon return. This does not include mistreatment of the knife.
  • How do I get a customized quote?
When you place an order through my contact sheet, we will talk about the project and I will respond with a customized quote.
  • Do I need to make a deposit to get my knife started?
Knives purchased on the website are paid in full. Custom unique designs require a 50% deposit to start the project, and the rest of balance will be collected upon project completion before shipment.
